I am surprised that LG did not QA their software upgrade for Atmos functionality since this is a differentiating TV feature. So now I have two problems, no Atmos, and Magic Remote does not change the volume when I use the Apple TV 4k device. I took out the batteries in the magic remote, waited a few minutes, put in the batteries, reset/reregister the magic remote, no improvement to the volume problem I tried resetting the magic remote, no change with volume problem. When I use the Apple TV 4k remote control, I am able to change the volume but the same white circle with diagonal line appears while changing the volume. The LG CX Magic Remote control does not change the volume when sound is output to the Sonos Arc and a white circle with a diagonal line appears when I attempt to change the volume using the magic remote when sound is sent to the Arc.

When watching an atmos movie using the Disney+ app on the Apple TV 4k device with the internal speakers, the TV displays a box indicating it receiving getting a dolby vision and dolby atmos signal, so at least the signal input into the TV using the internal speakers is fine.
